Could Obama Be The Next “White” President?

Yeah, you read it right. I said it, “Obama is white.”
I’m sick of hearing all this race nonsense getting thrown around. Genetically he’s just as white as he is black. His mother was white and his father was black. So if you can call him a black candidate, I can call him a white one. Race should not be an issue in this election. Despite what some of the black community leaders try to spread, most of the American people are not racist. 50 years ago it may have been an issue for the elections but it’s 2008, I don’t even want to hear it. I’m not saying that racism is completely abolished in this country, like slavery, but what I am saying is that we have to put things into perspective.
There are several reasons why I consider him “white”, and will continue to label him as such.
First, of all, because genetics couldn’t help us in figuring out what race to consider him, since he’s exactly as white as he is black, than maybe this will.
Which looks more like Barack Obama the guy on his left or the guy on his right?
Ya, that’s what I thought.
Second, this eliminates the race card in the election. No one can be racist, because all the candidates are white.
Thirdly, this helps him. I’m not saying I want him to win, but then again, I’m not saying I want him to lose. If he runs as the “white” candidate we all know him to be, he’ll probably win. If anyone else has noticed the last 43 presidents have been white. That’s 100%. That gives him a lot better odds.
Lastly, by bringing the ambiguity of his race to the forefront, I can bring up his biggest downfall. If Obama is half “white” and half “black”, shouldn’t he be at least half “outraged” at Reverend Wright’s racist rhetoric?

But I think it could benefit Obama to be black sometimes and white at other times, kind of like sometimes it benefits Hillary to be herself and at other times it benefits her to play nice (http://www.womensmediacenter.com/ex/082207.html) or sometimes it benefits McCain to be himself while at other times it benefits him to appear smart (http://www.rollingstone.com/nationalaffairs/index.php/2008/03/18/is-john-mccain-secretly-dumb/).
I think that, to avoid confusion, it would be best if Obama utilized his biracial selves in a consistent and predictable manner, kind of like Two-Face in Batman where he has one personality when you see his left profile and another personality when you see his right profile. Obama should do the same, turning in one direction to indicate that it is the black candidate speaking and in the other direction to signify that the white candidate is speaking. The best thing about this plan is that, at least with regard to sensitive racial issues, Obama might then be able to debate himself for our amusement.

The great thing about the world we live in(quite possibly the only great thing), is that everything is unpredictable. If Old England was primarily dominated by black colored people, and black colored people came acrossed the ocean to settle America, than just maybe we would have hordes of white ghetto’s and a whole unusal new set of Jim Crowe laws. Or maybe, since people are naturally very poor at predicting any sort of historical event(even though people wrongly claim there is an easy and logical explanation for every piece of history) everything would still turn out the way it has so far. My point is this:
Obama may not have a rhyme or reason towards any of his political decisions. However, you can almost be guaranteed any decision he makes, someone, will attribute that decision to either an aspect of his whiteness or blackness. Almost as predictable as the randomness of our world(get it?), we could predict that if Obama wins, it will be for “this reason” or “that reason”. Who actually knows? People who claim to know will be of the highly-intellegent conclusion seeking types, while people who state no answer or knowledge of the situation might be transcending into a state of genius far above politics. I’ll just simply say, “I don’t know.”
i like how you say we have abolished slavery when i’m working very hard to abolish slavery in american right now. we might not have black slaves on plantations but we certainly have a large amount of black people who work for 10 cents and hour in prison because they smoked marijuana or did crack with wich the CIA supplied them.

1.Smoking marijuana and doing crack is illegal, so they should be in prison.
2.”10 cents and hour” ? That’s pretty good. I was under the impression that since they were in prison, it would be free labor.
3.The CIA has better things to do than to supply addicts with crack.

Fact Check? Is that a progam. Is there actually some sort of software that knows what is fact and what’s not. I’ve got some very interesting questions to ask Mr. Fact Check. Anyway, you know what links cocaine to the CIA? You. Some thirteen year old kid is actually going things you write and believe them, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Also, the federal prison system is a bad system, but it’s better than how you describe it. They get free housing and free food for as long as they are in prison. The fact they get payed at all is surprising to me. If you are ignorant enough to get addicted to cocaine and get caught, then you deserve to make 10 cents an hour.
