Microsoft-Yahoo deal: Google, learn from Tiger Woods

Written by-Zach-

Google, the most profitable internet website ever, continues to whine about the recent news that Microsoft might buy Yahoo. Wait. Google? You’re Gooooogle; how can you complain?! You have a verb named after you. Seriously.

Tiger Woods welcomed the competition when Annika Sorenstam was the first woman to enter the PGA tour. Why would he do that? Because he knew it didn’t matter; because he knew that he was the best in the world and had the confidence to take on anyone the world could throw at him. He didn’t whine and say that competition would take away from his profits.

Google should learn a little life lesson from Tiger. Welcome competition because it can prove a broader range of dominance. If you’re confident in your ability to be the best, than you won’t have to whine about who’s merging with who. Just do your jobs, and continue to create service people have been using faithfully for years.

  1. Nick Hutchins Said,

all iknow is i’m buying yahoo soon. cause when this deal goes through i want in. And google is down now, so i shoudl buy that too. hmmm…i think google should welcome this b/c they’ll need to step up their game when/if it happens. then they’ll be better.. I mean honestly google: you will rule the world one day.

let’s be honest when the world eventually is all has one government it is going to be ruled by google. We will be googletopia…everything will be perfect and all ads will automatically match your wants and needs…everyone will be broke b/c everything they ever see, they want. except maybe when you want Jesus but it offers you a atheist book b/c the genius doing adwords put jesus as a keyword..you knwo, since that is such a great target. (note for those thinking of doing that: i will not buy your book or whatever you are selling, and will not give thought to your thoughts in all likelyhood, but i will click the link, and you will pay google a couple bucks b/c of it!)
